Institute of Applied Sciences, Prayagraj, is dedicated to the service of society through its scientific endeavors. It has completed several science-society projects & programs of the Govt. of India, as well as its own during its journey of about 22 years. The outcome of the projects were several nutritional products, useful and cheap for the common masses; as well as generating employment by imparting training & skill development for making Nutritious-fish products, fodder products, Water testing & purifying kits, Na-tools etc.

Similarly, more than 60 papers were published/presented by its scientists/researchers in national & international journals/platforms, among which a few were awarded the best paper awards. On the basis of the extensive research done in the Institute, 4 books have been published, three Doctoral degrees were awarded and several book chapters have also been written. The Institute’s work has been recognised by the DST/ DBT, GoI and the UNESCO. For the awareness campaign, the Institute organised hundreds of Vigyan/Swasthya/Jal Chaupals, Training Programmes, Workshops and Symposia/Seminars etc. in past few years.
